we have finally arrived in Werder after a very long journey. Unfortunately, we missed the connecting flight to Berlin which meant that we had to wait for our Lufthansa flight for almost 9 hours.
When we arrived in Berlin we received a very warm welcome and went home straight away looking forward to having a shower and going to bed.
Luckily, we were allowed to sleep in this morning and we started the day with a tour of the school followed by a welcome lunch and a tour of Werder. We met the mayor of Werder and our lovely hosts showed us around the old part of Werder before we went home to have a rest.
We are looking forward to our first day in Berlin tomorrow.
